ACTIVITY REPORT OF GIC LCM AND OPEN HEARTS COMMUNIY ASSOCIATION FROM 2010 TO 2025

*On May 28, 2010, GIC LCM launched its first initiative with the event *”All for Widows and Orphans.” During this event, 125 bags of rice (25 kg each), along with clothing and essential goods, were distributed to widows, widowers, and the Hildegarde Orphanage at the former public garden of Bonapriso in Douala.

In July 2010, we organized a donation drive at the Biyem-assi District Hospital, providing dozens of buckets, brooms, bottled water for patients, mops, squeegees, bleach containers, toilet paper, and more.

*In May 2011, as part of the *”All for the Disabled” campaign, the GIC caravan traveled to Yaoundé, specifically the Etoa-Meki neighborhood, where over *600 disabled individuals, widows, widowers, orphans, and other vulnerable people received donations: *600 bags of rice were distributed, and free medical consultations were offered to the entire community.

On March 17, 2012, the Military Garrison Hospital in Douala received treated mosquito nets, toilet paper, fans, soap bars, mops, squeegees, pallets of bottled water, brooms, and other essential items.

*In June of the same year (2012), *[1,000 international refugees]{.underline}* in the Littoral region received over *300 bags of rice, cartons of soap, more than 100 pallets of bottled water, and dozens of bundles of clothing.

In 2013, inmates at the New-Bell Central Prison in Douala also benefited from numerous donations. For more details on our initiatives, visit our Facebook page: GIC/LCM. We provided them with clothing, bags of rice, peanuts, and corn.

*In 2014, the GIC LCM delegate initiated a program to support street children in Douala by issuing *over twenty ID cards for these children, in addition to providing them with meals every Sunday.

In 2015, school supplies such as pens, notebooks, pencils, slates, chalk boxes, and bags were distributed to primary school pupils.

It is important to note that distributing school supplies to primary students is an annual activity, as the GIC President is deeply committed to education.

*In 2016, donations were delivered to the *Dibombari Orphanage, including crates of tomatoes, pasta, tapioca, beans, peanuts, condiments, a carton of fish, milk boxes, lunch, sardine cans, rice bags, and clothing.
In 2017, GIC LCM donated to the New-Bell Orphanage, providing similar food items along with peanut oil, red oil, salt bags, and clothing bundles.

*In 2018, GIC LCM visited the *Canaan Orphanage in Bojongo, focusing on the children’s lack of clothing and providing bundles of clothes and essential goods.

2019 was a year centered on education through school supply donations and children’s enjoyment with the organization of a Christmas tree event.

*In 2020, we supported the Dogbom Medical Center for children with *Down Syndrome, distributing rice bags, plantains, tomato crates, milk, lunch, sugar packets, pasta, peanut oil, eggs, salt bags, powdered soap, and buckets of butter.

*In 2021, we visited the leprosy patients at the *Dibamba Leprosarium, bringing rice bags—a staple of their diet—along with other essential products.

In 2022, the GIC delegate remained a steadfast supporter of his church members by distributing essential goods like rice, fish, vegetable oil, and pasta.

He also distinguished himself by providing seed capital to various church members to help them achieve financial independence.

Additionally, he offers a weekly “love meal” to all his congregants every Sunday and covers school fees for children under his care.

*In November 2023, the GIC LCM President supported the elderly in his hometown of Bonapriso by distributing *over 200 bags of rice (5 kg each) and cash gifts to twenty individuals.

They also received free dental consultations fully funded by the GIC delegate.

*In December 2023, a grand Christmas event was organized for the Bonapriso community, benefiting over 1,000 people. Children received toys and *1,000 CFA each, while adults were gifted 1,000 CFA each.

*In 2024, GIC LCM activities, in collaboration with Open Hearts Community Association, included the *”Back to School” event in June, where over a hundred primary school children received free school bags and supplies.
The year 2024 concluded with a Christmas celebration on December 24, bringing warmth and gifts to more than 70 children.

It is also worth noting that 2024 marked the official registration of Open Hearts Community Association, which launched a “heart restaurant” and free tutoring for primary and secondary school children in early 2025.
By April 2025, Open Hearts Community had already shared over 800 free meals, serving 100 meals every Saturday since its launch on February 1.

The educational aspect is equally strong, with free tutoring sessions held at the association’s headquarters.
Three major conferences have also been organized by the association, which spares no effort in promoting education.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Regarding international efforts under the leadership of Stephen Charity Worldwide in partnership with Wiseman TV, Dr. Stephan Jonathan DIN reached populations in Asia and the USA, particularly in the Philippines, by supporting local businesses.

Seed capital was also provided to launch income-generating activities.
He also stood out for his ongoing support to typhoon victims in the region.

His efforts extended further, with essential goods donated to the elderly and toys regularly given to children on special occasions.

Prisoners were not forgotten, as they received food supplies and messages of hope, reminding them that “it’s not over until God says so.”

In the USA, homeless individuals regularly receive food to meet their daily needs, with a larger-scale initiative in preparation.
